I have chosen to tell you about some of my family stories. These family stories concern things I did when I was a child. My mother often tells these funny stories, and they make everyone who hears them smile. I think it is good to continue telling these sorts of stories because they are good examples of my gradual development, starting from the beginning. Especially the ones that seem far-fetched. I don’t remember when I first heard those stories, but my mother always describes them in situations in which we are recounting past events. I think I hear some of those stories once every two or three months. For me, when we continue telling them it allows us to believe we have the same memories, which makes us feel like a complete family..
1-Lost kid… Almost ^^.
When I was about five, my mother took me on a long-distance trip. When we arrived at the airport, she had to figure out some information about the next plane, and so she asked me to stay near our luggage and not to go anywhere. But I was scared, I suppose, to be alone among many unknown people, so I left our things and just went in the direction my mother had gone, crying and saying over and over that my mother had left me. When my mother came back she saw an unfamiliar woman holding my hand, and that I was very upset..
It was an evening when my family and I were drinking tea. I took my mother’s finger, put in on the side of the hot teapot and, while holding it against the teapot, asked her if it hurt. My mother’s reply was affirmative. (Of course!) I told her, "Then be patient."
3-No comments...
My mother and I were spending time with her friends. We were sitting at the table and having a meal. After we finished, my mother asked me what I should say. I said, "Give me more!" (Instead of "thank you very much" as I was supposed to say!)
When my behavior was bad and I kept repeating that I I didn’t want to do something, my mother said to leave my ‘didn’t want’ out on the street.. After a little while, I asked her if my ‘didn’t want’ would be stolen?!
I used to like to play outside very much. As I was too small to play in the yard alone, my mother had to be with me. I was rushing her to go with me outside and she ended up putting on two different shoes.
